Insightful reasoning given here, especially regarding Egypt/Ethiopia! I suspect some major players e.g. Indonesia, DRC were left out because they are too politically vulnerable to being made a priority for US state dept. regime change at this time. I'm sure Mexico's Lopez-Obregon would have loved to participate if he didn't feel the wrath of his northern neighbor blowing cold air on the prospect.
Indonesia would be the jewel of the crown, so US would try everything to prevent this happen, no doubt. As for Mexico, certainly a good match, US would go nuts. US's main problem though is the fact it has nothing to offer and you can't go on threatening and regime changing everyone indefinitely.
Political vulnerabilities are many in the BRICS or BRICS candidate countries, but US/Collective West instability will become systemic in the absence of drastic internal reforms which are nowhere in sight.
Agreed! However, my concern is less "the nuclear option" which can't be dismissed considering who runs the state dept., but the huge expenditures made to co-pt foreign media and any internal 5th column. I suspect there will be some successful ploys in this arena, but believe BRICS will inevitably overcome any setbacks.
